Role Overview
As a Personal Banker, you will serve as a vital member of our front-line staff, providing exceptional customer service and personalized banking solutions. This role includes assisting customers with daily transactions, opening new accounts, resolving inquiries, and addressing account issues – all while building strong relationships with customers and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open various types of new accounts, including savings, checking, money market, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
  • Cross-sell additional bank services to enhance customer banking experience.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the bank, fostering strong relationships.
  • Prepare follow-up letters and thank you cards for new accounts to maintain customer engagement.
  • Assist customers with account problems, including reconciliation and research.
  • Provide outstanding client service by understanding customer needs and recommending bank products and services that align with their goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Solid math and computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn banking software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively
  • Knowledge of bank products and services
  • Availability to work rotating Saturday mornings as part of a regular schedule
  •  

Work Environment: This is a fully in-person position based at our Waconia branch location.

Pay: $18 – 25 / hour
