DESCRIPTION:The Waconia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Miss Minnesota\, Kathryn Kueppers to Waconia on Thursday\, August 22\, 2019 from 3:30   6:30 at Emagine Waconia Theatre 101 W 1st Street\, Waconia.\n\n \n\nThis Chamber of Commerce event will be an opportunity to meet Miss Minnesota\, learn about the Miss America Pageant and to see the film "Drop Dead Gorgeous\," which was filmed 20 years ago in Waconia and the surrounding areas.  This PG-13 dark comedy was the break out film for Amy Adams and features Kirstie Alley\, Ellen Barkin\, Kirsten Dunst and Denise Richards.\n\n \n\nThis event\, $20 per person\, is open to the public but pre-registration through the Chamber of Commerce is required.  Your ticket will include one beverage (beer/wine or pop)\, popcorn\, movie viewing and program with Miss Minnesota.  Check In is from 3:30   4:15\,  Showtime 4:15   6pm\, Miss Minnesota speaking from 6   6:30 with commentary about the movie as it pertains to her experience in the pageant world.
