Tour de Tonka is "MINNESOTA'S RIDE."
The annual Tour de Tonka bike ride has become a staple of the west metro community, growing from 819 riders in its inaugural year of 2006 to nearly 3,500 riders annually. Riders from more than 166 Minnesota cities, 73 counties and 42 states have participated in the event.
Riders choose between eight distances from 16 to 100 miles. There are 11 rest stops along the routes, where riders enjoy food, live music, rest and conversation. Tour de Tonka's routes move through 24 west metro communities, all of which showcase beautiful roads, trails, and scenic views of farms, lakes, and rivers,

Tour de Tonka's routes move through 24 different west metro communities including Chanhassen, Chaska, Deephaven, Delano, Eden Prairie, Excelsior, Greenwood, Independence, Mayer, Minnetonka, Minnetrista, Mound, Navarre, Norwood Young America, Orono, Plymouth, Shorewood, Spring Park, Tonka Bay, Victoria, Waconia, Watertown and Wayzata ? all of which showcase beautiful roads, trails, and scenic views of Lake Minnetonka, Lake Waconia, Riley Lake, the Crow River, and many other area lakes.
